The cost of the large unique leather handbag is $490. The cost of the smaller version is $435.
These three pictures of this bag are quite old. While there is no difference in how I currently make this style, it would be best not to request this color.
This one has my tri-loop applique braidedon a pocket.
These unique leather handbags are constructed with full grain 4 oz. moccasin cowhide. 1/4" wide laces, cut from the same material, is used for the various braids they're constructed with. The large brass (YKK #10) zippers are hand sewn using 5 ply nylon thread. It has 8 strand round braided straps. There are two quite large pockets on the two sides/ends of it.
Holley custom ordered this bag and requested that I use three colors - Mahogany, Black, and Pearl. She also encouraged me to mix it up a bit, hence, is what you see. While it doesn't really stand out, the straps are of all three colors, but, they are not braided exactly like each other. Same for the bags' seams, they're of the same two colors, yet, braided differently.

The two pictures below are of the same high contrast two toned bag.
Above are pictures of the two sizes that I have built this style. It is kind of tricky relating just how big these are - they are quite large. Check the large one next to the coffee pot in the picture below.
The larger one has about a 14.5" long zipper and is about 8.5 inches high. The width (where the end pockets are) is 6".
The smaller one has about a 12" long zipper and is about 6.5 inches high. The width (where the end pockets are) is 6".
The volume (length x height x width) of the large one is about 510 cubic inches. The smaller one is about 310 cubic inches. Calculating the volume of a purse that you have might help.
All of the bags below these wide bars are pictures of the smaller size of this style.
The one at the right is stuffed with a rather large bath towel. I laid the 18" ruler in front of it for help better realizing it's size.
This unique leather handbag was custom ordered by a guy for his wife. It was requested to have an 'infinity hearts' applique on it ...like his wife was familiar with.
Using my Rust colored full grain moccasin cowhide leather, The first picture shows the bag folded with the applique on the pocket. The second picture is a good look of it spread for access, with a nice view of the straps and the 14.5" zipper. In the third picture, it is set next to a can of coke to help show the size of it.
