western style vest built with braided leather
made in the USA - tanned in the USA

The seams, edges, lapels, and pockets of this vest were all braided with 1/4" wide lacing cut from the same material that the vests parts were cut from = top quality, full grain moccasin cowhide. It's soft and thicker than the garment material that most vests are built with ...making for a durable, long lasting garment.

Over the last 40 years, I've custom built hundreds of vests - you can see over 50 of them on my vest's home page. While they are all braided, that's pretty much where their similarities end. After seeing the many features I can offer, folks contact me with their own ideas/designs and we discuss how I should build one for them. Each vest ends up truly being a unique, handmade, long lasting, one of a kind piece.

This two tone moccasin cowhide vest has front lapels, and two patch hip pockets with flaps. Patch pockets most always come with matching inside pockets using the same braiwork to attach - the inside pockets have no flaps.
