This two tone moccasin cowhide leather vest has rather uniques lapels and back yoke on it - the back yoke can be better seen by going to the page the picture is linked to. It also has the two slanted slit pockets.
Here is a picture of the back of the vest showing it's long back yoke.
Here is a close uo look at the slit pockets that the vest has.
a braided leather vests with lapels
A custom & handmade braided leather vest was built with moccasin cowhide. Like all of the vests on this web site, it was made in the USA using moccasin cowhide leather that is tanned in the USA.

The seams, edges, lapels, and tops of the pockets are all braided with 1/4" wide lacing cut from the same material as the vests parts were cut from. The 4 oz. thick leather used is soft, top quality, full grain cowhide.

Over the last 40 years, I've custom built hundreds of vests. You can see over 50 of them on my vest's home page. While they are all braided, that's pretty much where their similarities end. After seeing the many features I offer, folks contact me with their own ideas/designs and we discuss how I should build one for them. Each vest ends up truly being a unique, handmade, long lasting, one of a kind piece.
