This custom built handmade leather vest was made using braidwork. It has lapels on the front, a yoke on the back, and two inset pockets with flaps. The laces used to build it are 1/4 inch wide. Like most all of my products, it is made with the best leather that I can find - top quality, full grain moccasin cowhide that is tanned in the USA - full grain means it has no (shiny) finish on it. It takes a clean hide for unfinished leather - finishes are often just used to cover scars, blemishes, etc.
