This custom leather vest was built with soft and supple top quality full grain 4 oz. moccasin cowhide leather using a braided leather method of construction - a bit thicker than garment leathers (2 oz. or so). The 1/4" wide lacing for it was cut from the same hide as the pieces of the vest were cut. The seams, edges, lapels, back yoke, and pockets were attached with braiding - 100% leather- no other materials were used to build it - that makes them very durable and long lasting. I've built 100's of these vests. All of them are custom made, one at a time, to the buyers specifications. That, and other reasons, make them all one of a kind vests.
