This handmade leather vest has front yokes on it. I have made these a lot of times but have never gotten many opportunities to get pictures of them for my web site. It also has the snap closures that I most readily use on my vests. In the top left two pictures they are shown in the open and closed positions. The lower three pictures are all of the inside of this vest. I put inside pockets on most all of the pockets that accommodate them. Lately I have been doing a more elaborate braid on the yokes - that is pictured on my vests home page. Keep in mind that most all of my work is done with moccasin cowhide which is thicker than the garment leathers that most vests are made with. What's really nice about this leather for my braid work is that it is dyed pretty much clear through. Hence, the edges of the laces are not the whitish blue that a lot of leather this thick is.
Check out these links to other braided leather things that I make and read my guest book, on my home page, to see what others have said about the leathers they have purchased from me.
