This is the very first leather butterfly applique I ever braided. I just did it on a small piece of leather that I had. I often apply this to my braided leather handbags in place of the circle applique I also use. Go to my purses and handbags home page to see the circle applique. I have made it larger and used it on the back of a vest, jacket, etc. Here is another handmade leather purse that I used this it on.
